I am an experienced, self-motivated, efficient marketing content manager dedicated to my team's success individually and collaboratively. I thrive in an environment where creativity and data analytics overlap, transforming impactful marketing content into measurable business outcomes.

My education includes both a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida as well as a master’s degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Digital Strategy, also from the University of Florida. I am an academic at heart, always seeking new knowledge and information both professionally and in my personal pursuits.

Content management, strategy, and creation are the cornerstone of my professional experience, with my skill set also encompassing campaign marketing, SEO, organic and paid social strategy, brand building, data analytics, and other lead-generation strategies and execution. I excel at cross-functional projects that involve other business segments such as Sales, Customer Success, project managers, subject matter experts, customers, and more.

I seek roles that balance informed marketing strategy with performance KPIs, using past successes, customer feedback, and competitive research to inform high-level and detailed decision-making. I have extensive experience building brand awareness in relevant markets through informed content to improve visibility. I enjoy collaborating on projects to drive results toward engagement and revenue goals.

Experience

PTC, Marketing Content Manager

June 2022 - Present

I manage marketing content strategy, development, and deployment for PTC’s 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software business (the company’s primary business segment). In my role, I am responsible for two high-visibility blogs, including concept strategy, managing a team of freelancers and a freelance budget, copywriting, editing, and CMS management. I also lead the strategy and creation of campaign materials to promote CAD marketing lead-generation goals. I collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts, thought leaders, customers, and partners to support CAD initiatives, including multiple annual product launches, for the Creo, Mathcad, and PTC University brands.

Content Strategist, SelectQuote Insurance Services

January 2022 - March 2022

As part of the SEO Content team, I led strategic planning and execution of SEO content projects for Life, Auto, and Home insurance divisions. I owned and maintained content asset inventory and audit systems for all site pages. I strategized, edited, and uploaded site content to the WordPress CMS. I also conducted competitive research and presented recommendations for sitewide content improvement plans. Note: My role was impacted by company-wide layoffs due to 2021 Q4 earnings that predated my employment.

Content Strategist & Writer, Huron Consulting Group

July 2021 - January 2022

I produced a range of thought leadership and sales-enablement content, including but not limited to articles, case studies, infographics, and e-books. I strategized and analyzed ongoing content campaigns aligned to business and stakeholder objectives and built strong relationships with internal stakeholders (subject matter experts, business leaders, etc.) to gain insights and strengthen content.

SEO Marketing Specialist, pepper

March 2020 - October 2021

I created, operated, and oversaw all SEO marketing activities for Pepper, a lifestyle intimacy e-commerce startup based in Las Vegas. I led keyword research for website optimization, analyzed on-site SEO for product marketing decisions, and performed audience analytics and other SEO duties as needed. I was responsible for strategy, creation, and management of all website copy (product pages and editorials), emails, and social media posts. I also ran small-scale paid search and social media campaigns. As part of the startup team, I also assisted with business decisions on brand direction and wider marketing strategy.

October 2019 - July 2021

I produced a variety of written content to promote go-to-market and internal priorities that supported sales initiatives or company goals, including blogs, webinar signup pages, emails, social media posts, landing page copy, customer stories, and other collateral as needed. I worked collaboratively with the design team to ensure the production of holistic branded content, as well as with campaigns and solution marketing teams to align with our persona-based strategy. I also spearheaded efforts to update our in-house style guide, create monthly internal marketing newsletters, and led A/B testing efforts for webinar optimizations.

Senior Writer, The villages daily sun

November 2016 - March 2018

As a daily news reporter, I pitched, researched, and wrote short and long-form stories on the Veterans and Public Safety beats. I was promoted to the senior position after achieving rigorous internal goals and completing a 6-week intensive editing course. During my time at the paper, I developed strong relationships with sources and community members, increasing my customer service and interpersonal skills. I received third place for the Florida Press Club Lucy Morgan Award for In-Depth Reporting in 2018 for an in-depth report on military burial traditions.
